The Clean Comedy Collective is a comedy production group based out of Nashville, TN that produces premiere clean comedy shows. We started in January, 2023 and work with several producers, and a network of 85+ comedians. We’re mostly based out of Middle TN, but have done comedy shows elsewhere as well!
Our mission is simple. We just want to put on really good comedy shows that are clean and family-friendly at any venue that is looking for a good time. If you have the location, we have the network of comedians! Want a comedy show? Let’s talk!
What We Classify as "Clean Comedy"
Any comedian will tell you when they are booked for a clean show the first thing they should do is ask the booker “When you say clean, what do you mean?” The truth is, it’s different for everyone!
For the Clean Comedy Collective, when we think clean, we mean “non-offensive.” We won’t bash people groups, we won’t punch down, and the goal is for everyone in the audience to have a good fun time, laugh a lot, and not feel “less then” because of our jokes. When we book comedians on our show, we ask them to follow these three rules.
1. Don’t Cuss
2. Don’t do jokes are heavily about sex, or sexual stuff (innuendos can be okay)
3. Don’t do jokes that glorify weed, drugs, or substance abuse.
Additionally, when we partner with venues we will ask them what other qualifications we should have in their room to ensure the best, non offensive, comedy experience.
